Environmental Design

Sustainability can mean different things to different organisations. For Gray Baynes + Shew, it means providing solutions which address the financial viability of a given project (including long-term operational and maintenance costs) as well as its environmental performance.

We assess each new project using a unique set of sustainability considerations which enables us to develop tailor-made solutions. This assessment is carried out at the earliest stages of each project and may include an analysis of the site, local environment, and the energy performance of any existing buildings as well as suitable methods for new construction and the possible inclusion of renewable technologies.
