This week we are joining hundreds and thousands of people across the country to stand together against breast cancer. Every year, Wear it Pink raises about £2 million during Breast Cancer Awareness Month by asking people to wear something pink and donate what they can. The money raised funds world-class research by the brightest scientific minds to discover how to prevent breast cancer, how to detect it earlier, and how to treat it effectively at every stage so we can stop the disease taking lives.  

This year at GBS we are going one step further. We have arranged an office bake sale  with all the proceeds going towards Breast Cancer Research. To add a little friendly competition to the day, the best baked offering will win a prize.  Our Architects will be whipping up pink themed cup cakes, Red Velvet cake and Lamingtons and Victoria sponge cake. May the best chef/architect win!

Update: The votes are in! Mr Robin Edwards has taken home the prize for the best baked cake with his wonderously light and fluffy, butter cream and jam filled Victoria Sponge cake creation. Our tastebuds thank you Robin!

On an equally positive note we raised over £100 pounds with our bake sale which we are proud to donate to breast cancer research.
