St Peter and Paul, Stokenchurch
St Peters Church is a Grade II* Listed building with parts dating from the 12th century, it is a thriving village church which attracts people of all ages. Major internal and external work was completed in 2013, it included an extension to create additional space for meetings and Sunday school activities, and the addition of a curved oak and glass balcony internally. A new kitchen and vestry were created and full height glazing added to provide new spaces whilst not obscuring views of the existing. Softwood Victorian pews which had suffered decay and were removed and a new stone floor laid after which new movable oak seating installed.
